That ridiculous Touchdown putting weird ideas in my head…

[OOC: Alright, let’s get a few things straight. I know what Yin’s original date is planning to do but he’s not the words speediest drawer, so I’m drawing what’s going to happen AFTER his drawing finally happens.

Also, is it just me or is Yin kind of tilting in one of them? Also, those are supposed to be stars in her eyes.. not just blobs.

Also, in the last one. It’s only awkward for Yin, it’s a shocked for Steel. I imagine he’d end up going silent, after about 5 seconds, Yin would instantly jump to the worst conclusion (she’s surprisingly self-conscious sometimes). So she’s trying to oh so subtly back away.]

[No, they’re not sleeping. They are literally just enjoying each other’s company and listening to the sound of the animals and such around them. Figured they’d find some place quiet and then they’d just want to relax.]

This is a work in progress. You can probably guess which parts of this still need to be worked on.
I saw a picture of one of my friends hanging out by himself at prom and honestly, thinking of my characters, if they ran into a pony they knew, they’d probably want to hang out with them some.

So here’s Yin noticing Steelhoof at the buffet table (hopefully he eats.. I hadn’t thought about that…)

I hope I got the colors and such right Steelhoof. It’s surprisingly hard to find a consistant ref. T-T I know you have blue-ish hair and grey-ish body and black-ish tuxedo. And your hair is really hard to draw!!! Not to mention your body!!

I felt like drawing some ponies I like. I simply had to draw Discord Hooves. I realize he might not be at the prom yet but timey-wimey-wibbly-wobbly stuff!!
Epitaph, I used Touchdown’s picture of them dancing, so your pony wasn’t in any clothes and not colored and I couldn’t find a colored ref in the few pages, so I didn’t feel like searching more. sorry.  T-T
I also realize that the Master and Inkie probably weren’t going at all but I wanted to draw them. Yes Master, I did steal the outfit design that Jitters did of human you.

((Mod talk: So apparently there are supposed to be some kind of archway that people take their pictures under at proms? That’s kind of silly guys. ^-^ But I figured what the heck. I googled prom archways and decided to do a few different ones since I didn’t see any kind of official one.

There’s the classic balloon one. With weird shaped balloons and a pattern that is typically broken because some person didn’t bother to not put the blues next to each other.

There’s a poorly-made night one with a bunch of twinkling lights and poorly make stars and such.

Then there’s a roman kind of one. With long drapy curtains that are pooled back.

The closeness of the two is also significant. I figured Yang and Medic are dating, so they’d actually be kind of cuddly-up with each other. Medic has his eye closed to not get poked with an ear or horn.

Whereas Yin and Atempus are just prom dates so they have that slightly-awkward space between them.

((Mod talk: I was looking at the map of the tumblr prom and I noticed a pond. Yin would totally end up staring at a pond for at least a good 10 minutes.

This was another fun, albiet a little hard, picture to draw. I never realized how hard water was to draw, not to mention their reflections in it and stuff. The rocks look just silly as I didn’t put too much effort into them.

Also, Atempus, sorry if I got your mane drawn wrong from behind or your color wrong. It’s surprisingly hard to match your shades in Sai.

Another attempt at using the Sai program, not as easy as it looks!! What do you guys think?]

So here’s Yang and Medic! This is sometime during the prom, probably nowhere near the beginning. I’ll post pictures as I get inspired to post them, not necessarily in order of how they would happen.
